Are you interested in smart, practical ways to move better and feel strong, calm & resilient, especially during these challenging times? Join Andrea Soos to learn how therapeutic & adaptive movement can address your individual needs to help you get stronger, relieve pain, prevent injuries, improve balance & posture and foster mindful body awareness. Try a few easy movement practices, ask questions and sample the online experience of an accessible yoga class. Participants who join our fall session will receive $25 off their online class registration!

Moving Through Stress & Anxiety 4-Week Series

With our current experience of collective uncertainty, finding ways to manage stress & anxiety is of utmost importance for our mental health. Moving and tuning into our body is one of the most helpful ways to foster awareness of the ‘here & now’ while redirecting our attention away from negative thought patterns and narrative loops which can hijack our mind and elicit uncomfortable physical symptoms. This 4-week series will help you move through stress & anxiety with soothing somatic practices to feel the body, task-based movement to introduce play with intentional activation, restorative poses to rest & unwind and iRest Yoga Nidra to foster an inner resource of safety & well-being. Learn practical skills to down-regulate the nervous system, promote emotional balance and nourish peace of mind while connecting in community. Please note that you may turn off both your video & audio during our Zoom sessions, and each class will be recorded so that participants may download for future reference. Handouts with lecture and movement content will also be provided by email.

Autumn Afternoon Retreat *REVISED TIME & FEE*

Hang your 'do not disturb' sign and enjoy a quiet afternoon of simple practices to soothe the nervous system, ease tension and foster deep relaxation with an at-home retreat on Zoom. Make a little time and space to move, rest and go within with a nourishing trifecta of gentle somatic practices, restorative poses and iRest Yoga Nidra – a meditation practiced while lying down to cultivate an inner resource of peace & well-being. Decompress from stress & worry while engaging with the present moment through guided embodiment. We’ll conclude our time together with tea and connection (unlike our studio retreats, you’ll have to put your own kettle on!).
