Learn a little about your vagus nerve - the largest of your autonomic nervous system which connects with nearly very organ of the body: stomach, diaphragm, lungs, heart, throat, inner ear, eyes and facial muscles - and its role in keeping your stress, immune, relaxation and social engagement systems in check.  You will receive a brief introduction to polyvagal theory and gain a simple understanding of how your nervous system responds to internal and external cues of safety to regulate your physiology and balance your mood. Enjoy an experiential afternoon of easy movement, breath awareness and stillness practices you can use anytime to increase your vagal tone and ease stress and tension in body, mind & heart.
