When our responsibilities lighten after retirement there is freedom to choose a different focus for how we wish to live our lives. For many, this can be a time to pursue spiritual goals; undertaking inquiry into what we need to let go of; examining our relationship between accumulation and contentment; our attachments and what keeps us stuck in repetitive habits.
With supporting practices of Insight Meditation and Buddhist teachings, sessions will include meditation; readings and discussion. Weekly reflections will be offered. This 5-week series is suitable for anyone wishing to “Engage in Aging” who has some Insight Meditation experience. Attendance at all sessions is requested.
