With the ongoing challenges of the pandemic, finding ways to manage stress & anxiety is of utmost importance for our mental health. Moving and tuning into our body is one of the most helpful ways to foster awareness of the ‘here & now’ while redirecting our attention away from negative thought patterns and narrative loops which can hijack our mind and elicit uncomfortable physical symptoms. This 4-week series will help you move through stress & anxiety with soothing somatic practices to feel the body, task-based movement to introduce play with intentional activation, restorative poses to rest & unwind and iRest Yoga Nidra to foster an inner resource of safety & well-being. Learn practical skills to down-regulate the nervous system, promote emotional balance and nourish peace of mind while connecting online in community. Please note that you may turn off both your video & audio during our Zoom sessions. Each class will be recorded to view at your leisure should you be unable to join live with downloads availble for future reference.
