Yoga for Anxiety

Yoga offers many practical tools in managing the physical, psychological and emotional effects of chronic stress, worry & anxiety, and can be an effective adjunct to other therapies. This workshop will introduce gentle movements, mindfulness practices, BodySensing and iRest Yoga Nidra to help relieve tension, calm the nervous system and promote emotional balance. Discover how ‘feeling vs. thinking’ through embodiment helps to down-regulate the ‘fight/flight’ response, interrupt negative thought patterns and nourish peace of mind.
