Andrea Soos

Andrea Soos has been a student of yoga for over 20 years, and is one of Hamilton’s pioneering teachers. At an early age, she recognized the role of yoga in fostering overall well-being, and completed her teacher training shortly after receiving a Life Science degree from McMaster University in 1994. Known for her warm, smart & lighthearted teaching, Andrea opened west Hamilton’s first yoga studio which she has directed since 1998. Andrea Michaluk

Andrea Michaluk has been teaching at Andrea Soos Yoga Studio since 2003. She received her yoga teaching certificate from The Hamilton Yoga Institute in 2001, but it was as a student of art that Andrea first began studying human anatomy and learned how to caretake a particular moment in time. She holds a Bachelor of Art honours degree from the University of Guelph where she majored in Art History.

Joanne Hudspith

Joanne has been teaching at Andrea Soos Yoga Studio since 2005. As the studio transitioned to Therapeutic Yoga in 2011, Joanne was astonished at how quickly she saw positive changes in the bodies of people she had been teaching for years. She was also amazed by the differences she was feeling in her own body – old nagging pains were disappearing, she was sleeping better, and was able to resume the cycling & hiking she’d given up because of pain. Christopher Bourke

Christopher discovered yoga quite unexpectedly during graduate school in 2007. What began as a mild curiosity soon blossomed into a deeper exploration of what connects us as humans, what helps us heal, and what supports us during difficult times in our lives.  Christopher continued to deepen his yoga practice while simultaneously building professional experience as a Social Service worker, aiding people in overcoming obstacles standing in the way of wellness.

Donna Paige

Donna Paige has been engaged in Buddhist studies for nearly 20 years. She has been influenced by teachers at both Spirit Rock Meditation Centre in California and the Insight Meditation Society in Massachusetts.  She completed a 2-year Mentorship Programme in Insight (Vipassana) Meditation with Norman Feldman, Molly Swan and Michael Stone in December, 2011 and spent a month in the fall of 2011 on a Buddhist Pilgrimage to India.
