Chronic back pain is on the rise; it is estimated that 85% of the population will experience back pain at some point in their lives. The causes of back pain vary widely, and research has shown that the best treatment for most back pain is gentle movement. In this workshop, you will learn about the anatomy of back pain – the relationships within the body that affect posture, core stability and back health - and what might be contributing to your discomfort. We will explore gentle movements to help manage and decrease pain, including those which are strengthening and preventative.
